Left Hand Brewing Company has been brewing world-class award-winning beers since its founding in 1993. We see our beers as a wonderful liquid food to complement meals and social occasions. We strive for the perfect balance and harmony between malt and hops in every beer - from our lightest to our darkest - allowing our consumers a truly unique flavor experience in every glass. The name Left Hand comes from the Arapahoe Indian word niwot which means left hand. Niwot was a Southern Arapahoe Indian Chief who wintered with his tribe in the Boulder Valley area of Colorado. There is a town, a creek, a canyon, a mountain and now an award-winning brewery named after Chief Niwot. Next time you're in Colorado be sure to swing by our brewery at 1265 Boston Avenue in Longmont. Enjoy a few pints in our tasting room, either inside in the comfortable surroundings or outside on our patios, soaking in the year-round Colorado sunshine.
