Celebrate spring. A rich German traditional. A Wisconsin adventure. Every May 1st, Munich beer lovers celebrate spring by tapping the first barrel of maibock at the Hofbrauhaus. The Capitol Brewery we can't wait that long. Our celebration starts amid the deep freeze of February. While Wisconsin snow crunches beneath our feet, we think warm thoughts of deep, golden hues and smooth, malt flavors. We think Maibock. you should, too. One taste and you may be tempted to run home and crack the windows open. Beat the rugs, hunt for morels. Our advice? Don't get crazy (like we are). Anticipate spring the smart way. Raise a glass to Ground Hog Day, March Madness and April Fool's Day all with one great beer: Maibock, you may find yourself wishing that summer never arrives. America's no. 1 rated brewery (1998 Beverage Testing Institute's World Beer Championships in Chicago, IL). After twenty-some years, locals and other Midwest types definitely know our whereabouts. For those still searching, we offer this handy-dandy map. Caution! Please empty map of its contents before turning it over and facing due north. Hint: we're located in a former egg-processing plant in Middleton, now populated by people with an obvious love of a certain Wisconsin tradition: brewing and enjoying beer and the company it keeps. Brewed in Wisconsin.

Limited release. Weiss beer with natural lemonade flavor. Six generations of family brewing. Pride of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Line-en koo-guls. Established 1867. Since 1867, six generations of the Leinenkugel family have brewed beer in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Also known as the Northwoods, it is here among the wooded hillsides, numerous lakes, and swift flowing rivers that our family found a special place to brew our authentic beers using the finest ingredients and time-honored traditions. The Northwoods have long been known as Indian Head Country so named because it was thought that the St. Croix River, the boundary between Wisconsin and Minnesota, formed the profile of a Native American. It is for this reason that Jacob Leinenkugel chose the image of a Native American woman to grace the label of his beers, to pay homage to the local people and their home. The next time you are in our neck of the woods, come visit us at our brewery and Leinie Lodge. The Leinenkugel Family. Union made. Please recycle. Visit the Leinie Lodge at Leinie.com. Leinenkugel's® Beer Grapefruit Shandy. Est. 1867. Highest Quality. Now Available Year-Round. Six 12 Oz Bottles. A traditional shandy is beer mixed with a little something extra. Like lemonade, soda or ginger ale. Leinenkugel's grapefruit shandy is our take on this tradition. Each batch begins with our traditional weiss beer. We then combine it with natural white grapefruit flavor that adds a note of fresh-cut citrus to brighten a great day by the lake. In 1922. Franz Xaver Kugler found himself in a tight spot when thousands of cyclists pedaled into his tavern. Afraid he'd run dry, franz mixed the last of his beer with lemonade. It was the only thing he had on hand, and it was a hit! That refreshing drink has inspired us to explore our own shandy combinations like grapefruit shandy. Indian head country: The Northwoods of Wisconsin have long been known as "Indian head country," because it was thought that the St.Croix river, which forms the western boundary between Northern Wisconsin and Minnesota, formed the profile of a Native American. It's for this reason that Jacob Leinenkugel chose the image of a Native American woman to grace the label of his first beer to pay homage to both the local people and their home. Today we're proud to carry on that tradition of honoring the source of our rich heritage - Chippewa falls, wisconsin - and of brewing beer that would make jacob proud. The Northwoods: It's an area of wooded hillsides, swift-flowing rivers, prosperous farms, and one very special place chippewa falls, wisconsin, home of the jacob leinenkugel brewing company. Since 1867, for six generations, we've been brewing our authentic specialty beers using only the finest ingredients and the same time-honored traditions. Limited release. Summer Shandy Weiss Beer with natural lemonade flavor. Est. 1867. Highest quality. Back in 1867, Jacob Leinenkugel, son of a German brew master, founded the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Co. in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Here he found the essentials for brewing truly exceptional beers - spring water from the Big Eddy Springs and access to the finest barely and hops. Leinenkugel's popularity has grown. But the quality remains unchanged. We still use the finest ingredients and crafted brewing methods. Today, the 5th generation of Leinenkugels takes tremendous pride in the beers carrying the family name. Enjoying the sunny splendor of the outdoors with friends and family is what Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy is made for. It's carefully crafted using the finest malted wheat, barley & natural lemonade. Flavor to create a crisp, refreshing beer with a little something extra. Summer Shandy is what brings smiles around the campfire, livens a day at the lake, & makes life out here more refreshing. In 1922, Franz Xaver Kugler found himself in a tight spot when thousands of cyclists pedaled into his tavern. Afraid he'd run dry, Ol' Franz mixed the last of his beer with lemonade. It was the only thing he had on hand, & it worked. That refreshing drink was a hit with the cyclists, and it inspired our Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy.
